There is neither any compulsion to have a family background of lawyers to pursue a Degree in Law nor to have taken particular subjects in 10+2. If your aspiration is your desire to be a lawyer then maybe CLAT is your gateway to enter prestigious law institutes after twelfth.
CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national level examination that lets you get admitted to 22 National Law Colleges. Coaching for CLAT at Alva’s Pre-University College had started in 2015-16. At present Alva’s provides a golden opportunity to those students who want to pursue their future in the legal field. CLAT classes are conducted by efficient faculties and also through external experts.
The UG-CLAT 2021 would focus on evaluating the comprehension, reasoning skills and abilities of candidates. It is a 2 hour test with 150 MCQ carrying 1 mark each. There is also negative marking (0.25 marks) for every wrong answer. These questions are framed from the following subjects.
- English Language (28-32 questions)
- Current Affairs and General Knowledge. (35-39 Q.)
- Legal Reasoning (28-32 Q.)
- Logical Reasoning (35-39 Q.)
- Quantitative Techniques (Mathematics). (13-17 Q.)
