Humanities deal with the study and understanding of the “Human conditions”. This includes the unearthing of the historical background, understanding the reasons behind the evolution of human behaviour, socio- cultural, economic and political systems in the human society. In fact, for certain professional exams like UPSC and KPSC for Civil services, Arts subjects build a strong foundation and help to clear the exams with ease.
The Department of Humanities of Alva’s Pre-University college sets the platform to embrace different state and central job opportunities like village accountant, second division assistant clerk, postal dept., recruitment in the defence along with their PUC education. We train students at Pre-University level to succeed in their dreams of state and national level competitive exams and also to pursue their future goals.
